You've got some good reloading equipment, now you just need some good brass. As suggested above, it'd be a good idea to go with the likes of Lapua. I've seen plenty of Lapua 6.5CM brass available at decent prices to, so that should be a problem.

I have Hornady brass for both my .308 and 6.5PRC RPR's and I don't like them for their inconsistencies. If you don't want (or can't) get quality brass, then you should consider weight sorting your Hornady brass. There is some correlation between case weight and volume (though not a direct correlation by individual cases). Also, you didn't say what powder and bullet you're using as this can be a factor too as some powder and bullet combinations just don't work well together.

this isn't rimfire

but go get new lapua brass
I have 300 new Alpha cases to inject in the process. Wanted to sort out and prove the new tooling on old brass. I realize this is mis posted. Fat fingers before enough coffee. Can you point out how to contact the moderator and have him move this? Thanks

Thanks I have 300 new Alpha cases all the same lot. Ten samples from each all within .5gn accross the 30. Using the old Hornady to prove out the new process. I‘ve tried sorting the Hornady brass and at best can get only +/- 1.5 grains to get a batch of 50. The broader the weight spread the larger the ES and SD. Been shooting 140gn Hornady ELD M and HPBT over IMR4350 or H4350 running on the barrel node around 2750 fps
