Brigade QM closed?

I inquired on a forum as to the professionals program (discount program) from brigade quartermasters not working...no area on the site to sign into it any more. ONe response sadi that the company is closed down now...anyone heard of this? They are a great company that is very supportive of the troops and always has what you need.

They were bought out by another comapny that I cant recall the name at the moment. They closed the retail shop they had here in Ga.

Just checked their website and it appears to be up and running. Them and US Calvary were the only game in town for mail order for many years and always seemed to have what I was looking for. Never made it to one of their store fronts but the PX always seemd to carry some of their items such as notebook holders and uniform items.

IIRC, Brigade was operated by Mitch Werbells son (sons). If you're young enough to not know who Werbell was, he's worth a look in to.

Sorry to see yet another good company fall to the internet conspiracy



o.k., so maybe there's no conspriacy, but I hate to see them go. I was headed to the store next week.

Here's the email I got back from them, too bad they don't seem so troop friendly since being bought out...

Jeffrey, the merchandise is not discounted for law enforcement or military, however, if the merchandise is purchased with a government credit card, special pricing may apply depending upon quantities ordered.

Brigadeqm was purchased by Ira Green, Inc. (military insignia manufacturer) in January and we are maintaining the majority of items previously offered. The web site (Brigadeqm.com) has been updated.
