Has anyone run these on their Vudoo mags? Was thinking about picking up some for my mags but wanted to see what the user reviews were like before dropping the $$$.

The MKM mag extensions came in the mail and they’re pretty slick - I set them up in the +5 configuration (removed the stock follower and assist and using the new one provided).

Here are my first impressions and initial thoughts on the MKM version:

    Pros:
    - Great fit and finish
    - +5 rounds (vs +2 with the Brink version)
    - Good color match
    - Easy install
    - Reuses existing spring
    - Adds a bit of weight to the mag

    Cons:
    - Semi-weird “caboose” bit with mag extension retention tab is a bit off-putting in terms of overall aesthetics

Just waiting for the Brink extensions so I can set a mag up with their version and do a fit and finish comparison as well as a side by side test on function at the range.

What kind of chassis or stock are you running? I was reading a review on MKM's web site that the extension does not work well with the KRG Bravo stock mag release. I really like the Bravo. I have one on my 6.5 Creedmoor and my NRL22 rifle is a Bergara in a Bravo that mimics it. I am currently building a Vudoo for ELR that will go into a XLR chassis. The XLR has a different magazine release. I was wondering how the part that sticks out at the bottom effects a mag release.

I’m running a MPA BA Comp chassis…will be testing this setup this week when I can get to the range. Also hoping to have the Brink version to test this week as well (damn USPS is late on delivering them).

Just got a chance to seat the test mag and try out the mag release…doesn’t seem to be problematic; fit is fine and the extra weight seems to help. Hope to get out to shoot this week and test out feeding, etc. — loaded the mag up and confirmed that I can get 15 rnds in the mag now though it was tight getting the last round in. Fingers crossed that the extension with the new follower they provided works as advertised.

Finally got a chance to get to the range to test out the MKM mag extensions (+5) and the short version is that they work pretty much flawlessly with my setup…no issue with fire, mag release or operation.

I built up 2 mags to test and will likely convert the rest if the Brink Excursion versions don’t show up soon (been a few weeks with no communication from them about ETA). At this point, I think the Brinks are a do not recommend.

Just an FYI, I also run the MKM extensions and had them fall apart twice during a match. Not sure what I did to cause it, but a piece of tape around where the two pieces connect fixed it.
