British L96A1?

I tried to do some research on this gun but can't find any information on the folding stock. Does anybody know if this is the factory folding stock for this gun. It looks like a very interesting piece.

Early Accuracy International 1990 receiver by the serial number, I have seen other L96's that did not have this scope base/ring setup, but they were later rifles and may have been upgraded or changed by an armorer.

I looked closely at the ad and it says that the gun has seen conflict. I know how hard it is to import mil items from the UK, and I think getting the MOD to sign off on that may have been tough, unless it was a trade back to AI for a new weapon and Gunsite imported it from AI as a normal rifle.
