Here is a thread where we can track and discuss things politicians at any time and in any political party promised, but failed to deliver on.

    I will start.

Obama the first time said something like “Sixteen brigades in Iraq, one brigade per month, the U.S. is out of Iraq in sixteen months.”

And not necessarily a broken promise, but John McCain voting against the Post-9/11 G.I. Bill was a betrayal.

Tracking ALL promises of ALL politicians is a big bucket and IDGMOAF about state and local politicians beyond my personal political swamp.

POTUS promises are already tracked in a number of places.

Links for the past three. It may come as no surprise who fulfilled the least and broke the most promises. Percentage-wise it was actually Trump.

    Biden Promise Tracker

You better thank God they break them

Hear, Hear! The only good .gov is a gridlocked .gov

Last time it seems like Trump went in with the mindset of a businessman. He seemed to think he was actually the "boss", a common misconception shared by a majority of Americans which reflects in the low turnouts for midterms, and people had to listen to him.

I'd really like to see Trump actually figure out how to play politics this time and in the first two years roll some shit back, straighten some shit out ... then I want gridlock for the next 50-100 years where the Fed basically gets nothing done except build the military and keep the lights on. But I don't see it happening.
