I have been looking, without success for .25 caliber barrels to shoot the new 131 gr. Blackjack bullet. I emailed Brux a couple of days ago and this morning I got a call from them asking why I wanted a 7.5 twist 257 barrel. I proceeded to tell them about Blackjack bullets. The guy said he would look into it right away and get back to me. Hopefully, another source for us?! Maybe more than one e-mail would get them going.

Big favor. Would a member check my understanding of the Berger Twist Rate Calculator?

According to what I think I found, the 131 Blackjack bullet is very stable from 200'-6000'+ at 3100fps to 3200fps with the following twists: 1.8-1.50 and 1.725. Trying to wrap my head around this before I order a barrel.

Emails and phone calls are the hardest forms of communication for us, if you need info PM me here or send us a Facebook msg

I will soon be looking for a similar .257 and Brux will get first option with Bartlein second. Blackjack has a winner and I am following its capabilities closely. I would take Blackjacks suggestion for twist OVER the barrel maker. Check out their expansive website.

How is an email harder than a PM or message on an Internet/social media forum? Seems that they are all electronic communications. Just asking as I don’t have FB account so don’t know ease of messaging there. Thx.

As a member here who doesn’t post much but reads often, I thought the same thing when I read that response. Really struck me as a very odd way to respond. If I can’t effectively communicate with a company by phone or email then I would simply take my business elsewhere. I don’t have a FB acct either...

It is simply because myself and business partner have very demanding "real" jobs to fund our "dream job" Blackjack Bullets. 60- 80 hours a week plus packing and shipping orders for 3-4 hours a night is rather taxing on a guy. I get to PM's on here when I can, FB messages can normally be answered in a matter of seconds. Emails get replied to when there is time and phone calls are very difficult during regular hours and most people don't want to be woke up at 2am when we have time to return calls.

We have a ton of information on our website and all inventory and pricing is up to date.
