Any of you guys run BSA guns?

I have been looking for a 22 target gun for a while and came across a BSA in a local store. I am not much of a rifle guy but it looked like a standard heavy barrel target type rifle. Had a Parker Hale rear sight and a hand stop. It looked like it was set up as a single shot but I think it was a adapter but couldnt tell for sure.

Price was around 400

I just need a gun to practice some basics on. I am a terrible rifle shot and figured something like that would be great.

Re: BSA guns

The only BSA 22 RFs target rifles I am aware of are the ones built on Martini single shot dropping block actions. They are excellent rifles made from the 1890s to the 1970s.
If what you have is a bolt action, I'm in the dark.
