buckmark

Re: buckmark

Fantastic handgun. One of my favorites in my safe, period. I regularly will put 500 rounds though it in a day, and it is reliable as hell. Trigger is great, gun is accurate, and the gun runs like a champ, even without cleaning.

Buy more mags and a speed loader of some sort and you will be good to go!

Re: buckmark

Great gun, you can do a "heggis flip" and get an even better trigger for free. It just flips the main spring. I would highly reccomend it

I've had my Buckmark since '97, love that little sucker. Probably up to 15k rounds through it and a couple hundred critters.

Re: buckmark

For the money there isn't any better in my opinion. I shoot mine more than the Hi Standard or the Smith 41. We have 2 and one is sighted in for 225 yards and you can't believe how good they shoot.

Good pick for the wife, now to get one for yourself.

Re: buckmark

great to hear all good things. she has a sig mosquito which is fun to shoot but has a horrible trigger but holds "minute of beer can" at 15 steps. Been having her shoot my mark11 22/45 but the trigger slap hurts her finger so when i saw the udx i said hmm mite try that for her

Re: buckmark

im sure she will put it thru its paces. i came home from work 4 days after i got her the sig and she told me we where out of 22 ammo. she shot to bricks off the deck. was guna get he another ruger but the suck to tear apart and clean. hows the maintainance on the buckmark. didnt look muck harder than removing 2 screws

Re: buckmark

I think the ergos are great on my Buckmark. I have a 5.5" camper model and it runs like a dream. Very few ejection problems. A buddy of mine has a ruger mk3 and between the two, I think mine is more comfortable to hold.

ejd049, I saw cabelas or someone like that has the buckmark mags(factory) on sale this weekend for like $17 each.

Re: buckmark

I also have a ruger 22/45 I like it but I feel like the sights sit higher on the gun. I love my buckmark, I had the standard and did an up grade this year, I added a set of the old target grips (they have a larger thumb rest) and I added a target barrel. It was much cheaper to order these from browning than to buy the target model. These upgrades and the trigger mod make it one sweet shooting gun.

Re: buckmark

You're going to love that pistol. I bought one used a few years back and put around 300 rounds through it every time I go to the range. I always introduce new shooters to handguns with my Buckmark as it is accurate as hell, never jams, and is a blast to shoot.
