I just got a 1:7.7 twist barrel to go 18" to hunt coyotes. short and will allow me to still reach out a little bit.

Great setup. I had this proof 1:11 laying around that was previously chambered so I set it back and ran a 22-250 reamer in it and I’m getting 3625fps with 50gr v max and accuracy is phenomenal and has plenty of power for coyotes or deer

I built a 22" .223AI, it's a nice setup. Very capable and exceptionally accurate. This should be even better.

Been running 18" 1:8rot sticks on our CR's for 5+ years now. 3600fps from a 55g pill. 1/3rd moa or better accuracy all day long. Good for a 400 yard kill box on the "Wy Lee Ky-Yoteh."
