Slowly building out a new dmr. Geissele super duty upper and lower receiver, solgw lpk, geissele trigger, a5 buffer.

I really like the Geissele mk16 rail with the built in arca. Are there any other rails with machined in arca? I haven’t seen any aside from the sgt of arms .

Looking at 18” barrel (223). Heavier, but not a pig . Any recommendations? I know there are so many good barrels out there currently .

Thanks in advance.

I like the Geissele MK16, not sure if any other rails are available currently with the ARCA machined in, wish more folks would do so though! I added arca rails to a couple of my gas guns, they work great but having them integral in the rail would be superior.

You can get the geissele upper receiver with the matched handguard off gunbroker for like 350$, I've got a 16" and 18" stainless green mountain and the difference is minimal so you could go 16" and save some weight.

There is another company with a machined in arca (they make the ones for the IWI zion rifles) but no idea if they are good or not.

I love the idea of a built in arca rail but if you plan to do a lot of barricade shooting/matches where you may shoot off rocks etc, I'd consider a bolt on one that's easier to replace when it gets dented up too badly!

The milled in ones do look fantastic though and are less cumbersome in hand.
