I have what I believe is a McMillan A4 on my gun, it was suggested to me that building up the stock for a higher cheekweld would be beneficial. So what are my options for doing so? The stock is marked with horizontal lines for presumably the McMillan saddle cheeckpiece, but I presume I'd have to have the stock drilled to fit it too. Ideally I'd like to not spend a lot of money on this.

Here's the rifle:

Just over 100 bucks for the McMillan one. Send it back to them and have it done. Once you get it back, you will be happy.
If not, Karsten has one, search for it on here.

So the Karsten has 3 models, two of them have straight slots (one uses allen headed adjustment other uses fluted hand adjustable knobs) and then one with specific holes as the adjustment. Just curious which ones people prefer and why.
