Range Report Bullet flight affected by surfaces?

I recall seeing or reading a "white paper" here about how bullet flight, or the mach cone, is affected from passing close to flat surfaces, it even showed high speed images. This was in a past discussion on whether or not a Magnetospeed removed from the barrel attachment, still affected the bullet's flight.

Does anyone have the link, or can provide more information on the topic? Has anything more been done on this? Thanks!

Can we not find scientific proof about magnetospeed and POI shift when it is not strapped to barrel? I think we all agree that strapping it to the barrel has a POI shift unless you shoot through a tree trunk.

screw it guess I will buy a mount and start testing.
