Ive got a Bergera/Bellm barrel coming tommorrow in .243 Winchester. Living in Illinois i have several large pieces of property with lots of coyotes on them. Now this is going to be a 500 yard gun max, most of the property minus one is max 500 yard shots. Heres why I like the concept. No fumbling with a rangefinder, just aim, it and shoot. On a couple instances ive blown oppertunities because im ranging and trying to dial in my scope.
This is not a gun intended for anything past maybe 600 yards. Ive got others for that. But for hunting, I think it maybe the ticket. Your opinion on this please. Remember this isnt going to be a long range rig. Just a yote buster.
