I posted this on another forum yesterday and got no responses, so I thought that I'd try it here.
I know they're a rebrand of the LDI ITAL/ OTAL, but noticed something. Burris has four versions. Inline FFL, offset FFL, and inline AR-Laser and offset AR-laser. The AR-lasers appear to be straight up ITAL/ OTAL - Classics, and the LDI Neutral Density filters don't fit the "classics". But, the FFL series of lasers sure look like the ITAL-A and OTAL-A, which LDI / TNVC only sell in restricted Class IIIb 5mW/ 1mW versions. The ones on TNVC's website show that they have a high/ low power switch. The ones on LDI's site does too. Hell, LDI's site even shows the Burris Fast Fire III as an option for the ITAL/ OTAL-A. Even if the Burris version does not have a high/ low power switch, the LDI neutral density filters fit the ITAL-A and OTAL-A.
So, does anyone have any hands-on with the FFL lasers from Burris? Do they have a high/ low selector? Is LDI going to start selling a Class I ITAL-A with a high/ low switch? If the Burris FFL lasers are rebranded versions of the LDI ITAL-A/ OTAL-A, they appear to be a pretty damn good deal. Several places are selling them for $550-ish, including a $200+ Burris Fast Fire 3 holograph site that can be removed and used elsewhere. Basically, buying an IR laser that you can't buy anywhere (the -A version) for the same price as the Classic versions and getting the FF3 for free.
Haven't heard much about the Burris lasers on here, but there sure seems to be a difference between the two different versions they are offering, and that are in stock all over the place right now.
