The Burris 3-15 is a solid scope, made in the Philippines.
The original Forge scopes were made in S Korea, but manufacturing was moved to China.
That fact alone would steer me towards the Burris.
How is the glass in the Burris ? Is the illumination daylight bright ?
This particular Forge is the Korean/ed glass/i4 reticle. Can't find any info about the i4 reticle illumination being daylight bright.
Just picked up a Burris XTRII SCR illuminated 3-15 on sale at Eurooptic. Put it on a hunting rifle - very nice. Zeroed it right up. I use XTRII 5-25 plus XTRIII 3-18 and 5.5-30 on competition rifles. Great scopes for the money on these sales.
I seldom (never) use illumination but wanted it for hunting just in case - especially for early and late part of day. Illuminates most of the reticle but not all.

The Forge scopes made for the American market were always made in China. The ones made specifically for the European market were made in South Korea. The ones with 'CM' turrets were the European market ones.
