Now before I get a bashing for looking into this scope, I would be putting this on my "play rifle". its the only rifle i own that i dont handload for, and am not trying to achieve the utmost accuracy with. "hunting" accuracy is good enough. its a savage american classic in .270 and can hold MOA or a touch over out to 500. it currently has a bushnell elite 1500 on it and the scope needs to go away since i am going all MOA instead of mils.
From what i read in the last american rifleman this scope seems like it might be a pretty cool scope given the limitations i am holding myself to with this rifle.
has anybody used one to see if the rangefinding is anywhere close to the advertised 800 reflective and 500 deer?
any real world experiences with this scope yet?
The gun will not be used for anything but deer and antelope, and if i dont put this scope on it i will be mounting a wotac.
