Bless her soul for trying... we are awash in rice, toilet paper, pasta, soup, beans and canned stuff. Every time she shops, adds a few cans of this or that or the other thing to the order. Thinking November could be as crap-show. I am not so sure. But, damn, she is doing a good job of it. If SHTF, we will be fine for months.

So we now have something like 20 tins of Spam. Which I sort of remember liking as a kid fried and on sandwiches. But I figure you deplorables have some amazing recipes for it.

It's a lot better for eating.
You can do cold corned beef sandwiches in a pinch and they taste a lot better than cold spam.
Add sardines in olive oil to give protein and calories from fat.

Cube it up small, sautee some garlic and onion in olive oil. add the Spam and cook/fry until done. Drain if necessary then add it to white or brown rice and cover with a hefty dose of Sirracha sauce. A little drizzle of teryiaki if you want a sweet to balance that heat. Stir it up and enjoy. Bonus points if you just eat it with the serving spoon you used to mix it up with.

Sometimes I get real fancy and add some brocolli or other greens into the mix, but not very often. That there is rabbit food.

We always have a case or two of spam tins, 30 lb bag of rice, 10 lbs of rolled oats and a 25 lb bag of sugar in the basement. The kids are always bringing a can up for breakfast on the weekend when their mamma works for me to make with eggs.

I grew up in the pacific and ate tons of spam. The ONLY way to eat it is to slice it into a frying pan with teriyaki sauce (nothing else) and eat it over rice once it is caramelized a bit.

of course you can add stuff to the rice like nori or furikake and that makes it taste even better. Making musubis is a good way to eat it. Wrap them in Saran Wrap and it makes for a great ruck March food too.
