Bushmaster 20" Predator upper ??

Re: Bushmaster 20" Predator upper ??

I owned a Predator 20" upper, then I sold it. Very accurate but "picky" with ammo. Sometimes it would feed, sometimes not. That situation is a big no-go for me and I sold it. After doing a lot of research, I learned BM used a tight match chamber on this rifle, which was the cause of feeding problems. I now know to look for a Wylde chamber which is both accurate and reliable. Tight so-called "match" chambers do not belong on ARs...period.

Mine is very accurate as well. I have used handloads and blue-box blackhills to good effect. I was shooting 69gr SMK's mostly

Not a Predator but my 24" Varminter was not picky at all and shot everything that I tried with remarkable accuracy. I was raised being told that the platform was inaccurate (my dad was in Vietnam with early M16's) but that changed my mind.
