I tried an XRS on on my .22 Quad, didn't like it. While I liked the reticle, amount of elevation travel, and the knobs, the biggest problem putting an XRS on a rimfire is that the XRS has a 75Y minimum parallax adjustment. I like to zero my .22's at 50Y and sometimes I want/need to hit critters even closer than 50Y. Even at lower powers the XRS was blurry and had very noticeable parallax issues inside of 75Y.
Yet another case where I wish most optics came with 25Y or better yet 10Y parallax capability.
