Night Vision Bushnell Equinox CCD

Has anyone looked at these? This seems to be the best budget night vision yet. I believe it has the 640X480 CCD focal plane and no IR filters. So this thing is essentially like all the security cameras with decent resolution and picks up NIR. Put an IR laser on it and your looking at something comparable to Gen III for $400. They have a Gen I version and the CCD version. I just got finished with a build, so I thinking about trying one when the funds recuperate. The picatinny mount is kind of opposite of whay you would want.

When did Bushnell introduce this product?

I can tell you based upon my experience with digital, don't buy this expecting to see in no moon/ambient light conditions without using a strong IR device, the Torch Pro will compliment this nicely!
