Ok guys so I needed a good optic for my long range 22lr setup.
Not something I plan to shoot in NRL22, but a good match for my Ruger Precision Rimfire.
Then I found a deal on the Nitro and here's what I have experienced so far...

    PRO
    -Great glass for the price

-Nice reticle Deploy Mil for extended range

    -Good magnification range

-Sunshade and BC Flip Ups included

-Well known manufacturer who have been good to me so far

    CON
    - Turrets suck, but I knew that beforehand
    (I plan to use reticle)
-Parallax adjustment doesn't work beyond 125 yards...

    What have you guys experienced?

Is this rare or a common issue?

I bought a 6-24x when they were on rebate, and I sent it back because of the parallax. I could focus well inside of 200 yds, but past that I was out of adjustment.

On the other hand, I also bought a couple forge scopes and they are great scopes. For the money I've never had another scope come close to the same quality. I like the forge scopes better than pst gen 2's and the like at the moment.

Phew! Just checked mine, most of them won't be used past 50 or 100 but seem to be working correctly.

You guys having trouble with the FFP or SFP scopes?
FFP and it is bad, only allows me to get parallax correct at 125yds & below which sucks for an optic like this.
I will have to contact Bushnell about this, but they have been good to me so far...

I've got a 2.5-10 model. I just read the thread and figured I would check it out.

Went upstairs and realized I can't see more than 150 yards in any direction.

May have to take a field trip later. If anything, I get a reason to get out of the house.

I’ve got the 3-12x44mm model and my parallax seems to work just fine. But i agree that the turrets suck. Very mushy and when you try to set the turret to zero it it will only go on in increments of two so a lot of times you are either plus or minus one from zero.

Just got my 3-12 in this week. I also plan on holding over and agree with your assessment.

I did not notice an issue with parallax on this scope, but was not specifically looking for an issue either.

I will have to pull it out later and take a closer look.

Pulled the scope out. Locked the rifle in a tripod via arca rail.

This one is has no issues with parallax from 10 to approx 900yards at 3-12 power.

I have an Engage 4-16x44 FFP and it seems to have a parallax issue at shorter ranges at < 50 yards. I have an 6-24x50 SFP Nitro and I have't noticed any parallax issues with it, but I haven't shot with it beyond 115 yards.

@Vamike9 Did you contact Bushnell about your issue? If so, do you recall how they responded?

Yes, they were awesome, even during the covid scare.
Bushnell didn't have any of the Nitro scopes at the moment so they upgraded me to their best Forge model.
So I was impressed to say the least.
