    Hello Gents

Ive got the opportunity to pick up a brand new Bushnell trophy xtreme 20-60x65 for a good price but before I jump in Im just wondering if any of you have had much experience with these? Looking for a scope to spot hits and misses on steel out to 1000 yards plus. Havent found a great deal of reviews on youtube etc
    Any info greatly appreciated

In my opinion, you need lower power and a reticle for steel shooting. 20-60 is great for paper punching but I prefer about 14-16 power for 1800-2200 yards. Reticle to match your scope is a huge help when friends are giving corrections for you.

If you can afford a Mark 4, it’s a great option. I just spend the day in the desert and it worked great.

Take a look at the 15-45 Bushnell if your on a budget.

In my opinion, spotting trace is just as helpful as spotting misses and it’s difficult at 20x, especially at shorter distances like 1000yds.

Are you running Mil or MOA on your rifle?

Thanks for your reply, Im running MOA on my current setup. I was worried that being cheaper glass without the ED clarity that it could struggle to see to 1000 but I guess I only want it to call corrections or hits on steel. Furthest ill ever possibly shoot is 1 mile.
