Hello to all, new member with a question.

I ordered a XRS last night after reading many posts and am now deciding on amount. I'm leaning hard towards a spuhr. I noticed that they don't have a 1.38" 20 moa mount and even if they did I'm not sure if BC caps would fit. So it looks like the 1.46" mount would be the one......if I'm thinking this through correctly. Also is there an advantage to the cantilevered version? This mount and scope will be going on my LMT MWS for now. I realize there are many less expensive options but the spuhr has my interest......

Thanks in advance, great informative site. Hope this is not a rehash of a thread I missed!

The only advantage I can see to the cantilever mount vs the standard mount is if you might end up moving the combination to another AR pattern rifle that does not have a monolithic rail like your MWS. If it's more likely to be moved to a bolt gun, then the non-canti model is the ticket. I would not try to steer you from buying a Spuhr mount, they are fantastic.
