Just purchased one of these:

NXS1550HSZSMR-MLR Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 HS Zero Stop
MLR Reticle - High Speed .1 Milradian Turrets

Because the ocular rotates when changing magnification some have suggested the Butler Creeks may not be the best solution. Some have said the XP-6 Flak Jacket by Scopecoat is the way to go.

Looking for your valued input if you have experience with either.

PS - the scope will be used mainly for tactical type matches and hunting...

You'll probably find that most on this site stick with the objective covers that come with the NF scope. The Butler Creeks leave something to be desired in the quality control department.

I use the butler creeks. The way I put the ocular cover on, it's in the way at lowest magnification, the bolt handle catches it. Doesn't really bother me much, I rarely turn it down that far.
