I think black hills is using winchester brass which should be better for reloading than that soft federal stuff

Yes BH loaded ammo uses Winchester Brass...if your buying bulk ammo for the brass and to shoot in the mean time, why not buy Corbon??? Corbon uses Lapua brass. But i do agree with 19Scout, buy a box or two of each match ammo and see what shoots better

Im shooting them out of a my gap rifle when i first bought it i shot a box of both. they shot about the same the federal had maybe tiny edge but not much
Ill try the corbon can you buy it by the case ? where a good place to buy it from

The only box i havent shot yet are the corbon ammo. But i hand load to so if that ammo will reload better ill try that. but as of right now i dont have the time need to reload my ammo.
This Gap 308 will one hole almost all ammo i put thought it. And with the new pay checks im getting the shooting fund is a little lower so im will to give up a little in group size for the better deal. a Rough guess is that most groups are close to 1/4 if not better with the federal the BH 1/4 to 3/8.
The truth is the rifle will shoot better then i can shoot. So as long as the ammo doesnt really shoot crappy or change alot ill try it it
