BTW an organization named "Autodefensas" sound like they are fighting to protect their homes and communities from the vicious Marxist insurgency that had plagued the country for quite some time. Autodefensa essentially means militia or local committee of vigilance. There are Autodefensa groups in Mexico as well who are taking on the cartels.
