Loading 6gt hornady brass. Are the lots of hornady brass consistent enough that I can buy separate lots of 300 or so pieces of brass at a time? Or, is it recomendable to buy all of it at once?

Ymmv but as a rule if I'm buying and component I buy all that I can.

1. Prices rarely go down.
2. Prices are actually low at this time
3. Even the best manufacturers could have a lot variance
4. Way easier to process as bulk and no having to worry about the number of firings. Process bulk load fire. Even if you only load 100 and shoot them, throw them into a box. Then continue until your out of brass.

This applies more to cartridges that are long lasting. Not a season's worth of barrels then a change to another caliber.

If you change calibers load more often.

But to be honest I just ordered 64lbs of 1 powder. So I may have a problem.?

Once I have a load developed, I purchase enough of the raw materials that comprise that load recipe to last the expected service life of the barrel (magnums) or 2000 rounds (non magnums).

this applies to my precision platforms.

When I bought brass for the M2HB I got two 55gal. drums from a military auction. It's about 10,000 pieces. All same lot. Make damn sure the lot isn't a shitty one though...

When I got Lapua brass I got it direct from mfg. in 1000rd. cases. Much cheaper that way.

1moaoff pretty much summed it up. Buy in bulk, buy as much as you can, prices never go down, only up. Save and wait for a sale and clean 'em out.
