BX Trigger Upgrade?

Who makes a flat trigger that will work in the BX trigger? Also, what auto bolt release is recommended?

Ugh, get the Kidd drop in replacement and don't look back. It comes with the auto bolt release.

$2-300 is more than I’d like to spend currently. I put a kit in my don’s Older 10/22 and am happy with it. But, most seem to say they aren’t compatible with the BX.

Call Tandem Kross. They have a flat faced trigger that brimstone does for them.

I ordered the DIY kit from Brimstone and an auto bolt release. Will update when I get them installed.

Got the kit installed today, trigger feels much better! However, the trigger will not reset when I hold it back. If I let off, the hammer will set, but not if I continue to hold the trigger after it breaks. Any ideas what I’ve done wrong?

Does it function in the rifle when you dryfire?

Didn’t dryfire, but ran the boltand it did the same

Just tried again and the hammer follows the bolt when holding the trigger. Has to be something in the seat/disconnector?

I think I remember that happening with my Kidd trigger but once in the rifle it functioned perfectly normal.

Did you replace any springs? Trigger return spring might be weak? Is it a new trigger or a used one that you put the kit in?

Sounds like the disconnector is not engaging, but it's been a long time since I actually looked at a 10/22 trigger group.

Double check your disconnector install. It should grab the hammer with the trigger held back, even with the trigger unit out of the gun. May need three hands and a flashlight to see down there.

Think I got it. Disconnector was tight inside the trigger and wasn’t pivoting freely. A little file work and seems to be working now. I will update more after I have live fired it, hopefully not full auto??
