I am thinking about using a C-more ARW sight on my AR15 (Flattop) Their website says it's not a co-witness model. I installed the sight on my AR and it appears to co-witness with the sights. Does anybody have this setup. My gun has the standard fixed front sight with ARMS 40L rear. Let me know.
thanks

Re: C-More ARW

I have one on a 7.62x39 Colt Sporter. It's definitely co-witness with my factory iron sights. I originally bought it as a temp while I saved up for an Acog but it's been so solid that I gave up on the Acog idea. I'd like for the adjustments to be better but once it gets sighted in and locked it stays on zero.

Re: C-More ARW

The ONLY sight like that I would use, esp. on a rifle that may someday save my life, is an Aimpoint. I'v tried them all, and the only one that consistently work's great and can be seen in any light is the Aimpoint. EOTech's wash out in bright light, some of the open unit's (like the C-More, at least the older one's I played with) project the dot from the rear of the unit to the len's from a tiny hole. It only takes a small piece of dirt or tiny drop of mud, snow or even water sometimes to render your sight useless. Another thing to consider is battery life, Aimpoint's last for year's, not hour's. Don't get me wrong, they are not "junk" and they do have their place, ie; target plinking (if the dot is 2-moa) and in most cases would most likely work fine. However, if this is your "go to" gun, as alot of AR's are, I'd want the piece of mind the Aimpoint would provide. They are not much more than the C-More, and if money is tight take a look at the IOR reddot with adj. knob's. http://www.valdada.com/product/81e63ffe-067e-477a-b577-8c2725b2093a.aspx Cheap money and nice looking sight.
