Sidearms & Scatterguns C96 markings

Can any pros on this forum help my buddy to identify these markings on his C96 (possibly from the early 1930s)? Thx!

Caliber, Barrel length and any history would help. I had one that was imported in the late 80’s early 90’s from China and reblued, rebored and sleeved to 9mm with repro red 9 grips. Repro holster stock too.
