California legal 10/30 mag conversions

I have a boatload of 30 round mags and I was thinking of converting them to 10 rounders to sell on eBay. I've watched a lot of videos and there are multiple ways of doing it. My main question was do you have to pin or rivet the floor plate or will just using epoxy like Devcon work. I've seen it done both ways. Some people just expoxing. I know I need to read the laws full in depth and I will. I just didn't know if it's required to rivet or pin or if epoxy is enough to cover the law

For state specific questions, you are better off asking these types of questions on state specific boards (e.g. calguns.net).

For mag conversions, the law only states that is must be permanent. What constitutes a "permanent" change is obviously open to some interpretation and uncertainty. However, current thinking is rivets, epoxy or permanent pins will satisfy the law, and that is typically what you see when you purchase converted 20/30 round mags from commercial vendors. However, there is nothing from DOJ that confirms what mods satisfies the "permanent" requirement.
