Can a rifle use Aics and aw mags

Is it possible to get Aics and aw mags to run reliably in a custom rifle that has a aw cut action? I know the mag catch has to be filed most of the time to run aw mags but can the feed lips be adjusted enough on a Aics mag to also work

Feed lips won’t be your issue. What will be the issue is the AICS mags riding high inside the action IF there is upward pressure from the bottom of the mag. Avoid that and yes you can run both. I’ve done it in my Vector, and in a LP Fuzion. Seen it done in a Zeus and TL3 as well.

AICS mags work great in my AW-cut Impact action. Just have to make sure your feed lips put the rounds into the right position.

My Defiance Deviant is AW cut and will run both reliably.
