Can I match up my Lapua brass load with Remington

Currently I use lapua brass for my 30-06 handloads. I recently bought a good amount of 30-06 remington brass and would like to load them up to match my existing loads as closely as possible. I’m doing this just to have the extra ammo there if I need it. I’ll probably just keep the Remington brass rounds as storage for a rainy day off work.

I am using IMR 4350 and 168gr matchkings and it shoots great. Can I just use the same amount of powder in the Remington brass and get the same or similar velocity as the lapua brass?

I was going to load up 5 rounds using the Remington brass at the same powder weight and then another 5 rounds with .5gr more powder and then maybe another 5 rounds with another .5gr of powder.

I’m planning on using the chronograph and hoping to get the average velocities of the 5 shot groups to be close. Does that sound like that would work?

Use .1 or .2 grains higher and lower. .5 is too high of a jump. when you switch brass, the internal capacity can be different. And the neck thickness could be more or less and cause a difference in neck tension. These factors can effect the velocity/accuracy between loads. But, the powder charge should be close to what you have now that will work well in the Rem cases.
