Hey, guys I bought this suppressor about 7 years ago and looking to get back in to long range shooting this summer. I have it on my Remington 700 5r right now. I picked up a Christensen Arms MPR in 300WM. Is anyone familiar with this suppressor and know if I can shot it on my new gun with this caliber or is it too much? Looks like Curx went out of business and IM not sure where else to find out. Thanks for the help in advance! Crux Nemesis30-PMS part number.

No direct experience with that can, but typically 30 cal is good for 30 cal, diameter wise. Where it can get weird is barrel length, since you’re not attempting to shoot it on a 14” 300 wm, I would shoot it on your MPR if it were me.

I think it should (on paper). Not to be confused with whether it can.

I say this as I believe the Crux cans had pretty stout ratings on them. I know someone that personally used a Crux pistol can on their .375CT.

That said, Crux had big time manufacturing issues. I believe the issue was the laser engraving went too deep on the sleeves, resulting in a LOT of suppressor failures.

So there you go. On paper it should withstand it, but there's a half decent chance it has a manufacturing defect that may lead to failure.

I say just shoot it until it doesn't work anymore - and hopefully you get a lot of life out of it.

as to this, always use a suppressor cover when shooting a Crux, the face you save could be your own.

@99v6red - if it does crack, ECCO machine has repaired at least one cracked Crux in the past. I think they stopped custom services at the time, but they could be a resource in the future if you do need such assistance.
