Can I use a BT Monopod as a bag rider?

I tried it once and it seemed okay, but what do I know I am noob Can I use a BT Monopod as a bag rider?

The one issue is it will have an issue sliding during recoil. Most if not all are flat and smooth where contact occurs. That may slide back but catch on the bag moving it forward. Will it sort of work, probably, but not my favorite. In a pinch sure, better than the pic rail it connects to

Good point, I was only thinking of ease of adjustment, not recoil smoothness. interesting!
