Rifle Scopes Can someone post a pic of a 4x at 300 yards?

Can anyone do this for me? I am looking into getting a new scope next year, either the NF NXS 1-4, USO 1-4 or the USO 1.5-6. I have seen what a 6x looks like at 300 from doc's recent thread (you should really check it out, good stuff).

I am wanting to know this because I wanted to see if I could see a deer sized object and still hit it at 300 or less.

I'd like to see ANY 1-4x optic from Millet to S&B, just to get a dexebt reference point.

1.8-10 TPal is what I have being built.

It is personal preference, but if I plan on anything more than CQ ranges, I want at least 10X.

I originally started the 1.8-10TPal build for a Mk12 Mod0, but I am really considering putting it on a Patriot customized LTR for hunting.

My use will be for close-in hunting and rarely will shoot past 100 yards (mid-west Alabama dosen't offer much long range hunting). And a 1x or 1.5x would be great with 4x or 6x power for the "longer" range shots (100-150).

I will buy a 1.8-10 T-Pal sonetime when I can afford a custom rifle.

*EDIT* How much is the TPAL setting you back? What options did you use (reticle, TPAL, turrets, etc., etc.)?

There is a 1.8-10 tpal moa/moa for sale right now in the optics and accessories forum for only $1800. If I was looking for one I would try to jump on that.

Walsh,

If your deer is 300 yds away, and your scope is 4x. Then divide 300 by 4 = 75. So a deer 300 yds away as seen in a 4x scope will appear the same as 75 yds away as seen with your naked eye. At 6x the deer will appear to be 50 yds away. At 10x 30 yds away and so on.

Just do the math....

Than you for your timely responses, I know that it would be 75 yards, just wanted it seen through a scope.
