I remember watching the first two Super Bowls and they had marching bands playing which didn't detract from the game. Now it seems its a half time show with a game thrown in. Turned the game off at halftime.

Caught the national anthem and the flyover,B1,B2,And B52. Then shut it off. Watching life below zero episodes because its been, and will be below zero for another couple days here in MN.
Went to the bathroom, I think what I flushed looked better than what was on the screen.
Thought it was ok. The weekend is a very good signer, just not a great entertainer.

Went to drop the boys off at my brother's house tonight and his wife wanted to watch it for the commercials. Absolute garbage. I was never much into football before but I'd sit down and watch it from time to time, not any more. Spent most the night either with my nephews or watching small screen reviews on GPS watches.
I haven't watched them in years. I walked down into the computer room and checked my emails. The wife went into the kitch to clean up a bit. We met back in the TV room when we heard the kickoff for the second half.
I have a better question. Why does anyone care? Pro sports are silly at best. It's a shame that our society has decided that these guys are worth millions. I am a free market guy, so it is what it is - in this case, I just disagree with the market. Turn this garbage off. They don't want the world you do.

Fantastic game. Brady is amazing and an incomparable role model to teach what hard work and dedication will do. Really glad I watched it. Life is too short to fixate on the negative. Never watched a halftime show not gonna start now. That’s when you eat and poop (hopefully not at the same time.)
I have not watched pro football in years. Sadly, everyone who has cable helps fund this dog and pony show. Yes that's right a large portion of your cable bill goes to the NFL.
This is whether you watch or not so might as well watch? When do we get carte blanche cable ? Need to get into the streaming thing I pay 185 a month for dish.....
only game i've watched in the last 5 years. Wanted to watch the GOAT one last time. Shut the sound down and got on the "hide" to see if maybe someone listed something for sale i needed.

I agree, he isnt much of an entertainer, but he does sound good and I do like some of the songs even though its not really my first choice for musical genre.
(Im more: old country/bluegrass, 80s tech/synth, blazin/heavy guitar rock and you can throw in some 90s grunge/industrial too...)
Basically, i appreciate good music, and his is good. Come over to the "song of the day thread" and post up some tunes...
One thing is 100% certain, it would have been much better if "Daft Punk" was onstage with him in a noticeable and appreciable way...
As for hip hop, idk where tf you been but, hip hop is one of the most popular music genres on the planet.
Lastly, i wouldnt even call his music hip hop, although there is influence, sure.
