May be once in a lifetime, maybe a divine gift on my birthday.

5 shots, 100 yards. I had 4 to start and fired one more to make it five.

Does anyone out here do this on the regular? What's the best group you have ever shot?

5 in a hole is nice. Good shooting. I’ve had a few groups go into the 1’s, but I certainly can’t do it consistently. Typically I’ve found that crazy accurate groups like that are in the low node, and I push on looking for a bit more MV. YMMV.

I had a sweet 1/8" center-to-center, 5 shot group until I shanked the 3rd round. Got 2 staked onto themselves at 400 once, too. Seems like it always happens when I'm not trying to do it.

My avatar, 5 shots at 200 yards. Right at 1/4”. Best I ever shot was .180 at 200 yards. Seating depth what got me dialed in!

I think my favorite random bit of surprising accuracy one was still this. Doing 3 shot groups to get the zero down solid on a 5.56 carbine at 200 yds range. Solid performer, but not a precision rifle, shooting pretty whatever ammo, with an RDS and 3x magnifier, prone but monopoding the mag, no bags or anything.

This is not representative of the gun, the ammo, or my ability to shoot. I mean, check out all the other damned pasters. But it happened.

No pics but a few in the zeros .0-- , many in the ones .1-- I think the best was an .068" All 5 shoot groups. Shot a .168" @200 10 shot group.
best at 1K 2 5/16" for 5 shots. Backed up with a 3" group. Should have kept the rifle. Many under 5"
Best 10 shot @ 1K 4.322" World record for about 6 years.
The wind blows them out and the wind blows them in.

Just got my 12 year old daughters 1st rifle built and got a chance to take her to the range the other day. It’s a 6.5CM on an Origin with a 16.5” Proof CF. Prefit Barrel work done by Ern @ Altus. After getting it sighted in for her, she proceeds to show her dad how it’s done fire 3 shots at her 100 yd target and lays down a .281” group. ? I’ve been training her for awhile now on my Rem 40x 22LR but this is the first time she’s put rounds down Range with a center fire. Factory Hornady 120gn ELDM’s. She’s a little hammer. Proud dad here ?

Two 3 shot groups out of my Tikka 22BR just before I shot a ladder. I was useing pulled bullets that had been seated with the wrong stem. I was trying to get on clean paper before the ladder, the first 3 went in the 3" dot, dialed .5 mil left and shot the smaller group. If I had seen how small they were, I would have not shot the ladder.

402 yards

This is the best I've ever did with a Savage FP10 .223 at 100 yards back in about 2005. 69 grain HPBT Sierra, 24 grs. H335, Win case, CCI primer off bench with bipod.

The next pic was one I did this morning with my Rem 700 M40 clone in .223 at 100 yards. 69 grain HPBT Sierra, 23 grs. H335 ,Win Case, CCI primer. I'm still developing the load. I don't use a bipod anymore just a my old buttpack with a towel in it off a bench.

I'm no where near where you guys are .
My Rem ain't no tack driver ...............yet, but I think

I'll keep her.

Here are some of my best groups coming from a Tikka Tac A1 in 6.5 Creedmoor. I'm currently on the 2nd barrel, a Patriot Valley Arms shouldered prefit.

These are obviously cherry picked groups, however - I have LOTS of groups in 0.2-0.3 MOA range. When I do my part with the marksmanship fundamentals, this rifle definitely stacks shots unbelievably well.

I had a bolt action 50 BMG built in a Bat action that shot really well. The hardest part for me was not flinching from the muzzle blast my brain knew was coming. First group was @ 200 yards. Second group was testing that load @ 1000 yards. If the wind was better that day @ 1000 that group could have been awesome.
