SO I have an older Redfield Wideview fixed 4power scope. And I was thinking about putting it on my AR, but here is the thing that I cant seem to figure out.
I have researched the wideviews themselves and from everything that I have read is they were shipped with a duplex reticle. This one doesnt have a duplex reticle, it looks more like a post and a fine cross hair with the post sticking thru the crosshair. I dont have any info on this scope as it was one that my dad had laying around and I inherited it.
Any way of finding out any more info on it. I know that Redfield is long out of business and there may be problems with the scope I dont know of since I havent ever used it but I was curious if anyone knew any more about it other than its a Wideview fixed 4 power.
