It looks wrong to my eye but is it an optical illusion?I put a bubble level on top of the picatinny rail and a USO swivel and they matched up.Then removed the rail level and just used the USO at the 100 yrd range.I brought a carpenters level and drew a vertical line at 100 yrds and made sure the USO was level and put cross hair on vertical line and tightened it down.It groups about dime size all touching and at 200 yrds about a quarter.If it is canted at what distance would I notice it.Going out to 600 yrds in a couple of weeks what should I expect?

Trust the two levels. I had the exact same issue and when I "leveled" the crosshairs IAW the bubble level, it seemed canted to my eye but in reality, it kept me on target at over 1100 yards. My instructor insisted the first time he put a level on his optics, he too thought it was off. He had to break some bad habits like most of us do.
Some of the USO levels are a little off but I am told they can be shimmed.
I read a post a few weeks back where someone used a distant roofline as a basis for checking level and then checked it against his USO level. If everything agrees, then you should be fine.

Another method is using feeler gauge set to level the optic.
By placing them between the bottom of the scope body and the rail and adjusting the gauges to get a snug and level fit.
But Im anal so I use gauges and check with levels, then box test.
If you used the method you listed above and the reticle held true to the level line you placed at 100 yrds, Id say chances are you are good.

Thanks for the responses.I sort of thought just go with the level and yes it feels wierd .I'm just getting into long range, I usually just do it by eye and it's always ok because it's never past 200yrds.The roof or side of a building sounds ok but what how do you know it's level?Thanks again

Of course the roof or building could be off but not likely. If all three things agree, (action is level, crosshairs are parallel to the roofline and the bubble is level) then you pretty much have to assume everything is OK and it's just your perception that needs adjusting. Believe me, when I first looked through my "leveled" rifle, I was sure something was out of synch. Turns out it was ME.
