Early tomorrow morning, I’m going to the range, with a carbon fiber collection, to shoot. The collection consist of 3 Christensen Arms Ranger 22 (1 black,1 green, 1 tan) bolt actions and a Bergara BXR semi-auto. I expect that somebody at CCI, will be richer by tomorrow‘s end.

I'm interested to see your results with the CAR22.

I shot one of those BXR's a few months ago, that someone else had at the range, and it seemed like a solid unit. I only got to shoot it at 50 yards, so wasn't any real testing for impressiveness, but it seemed like a good rifle. No hiccups or jams that I witnessed while the other guy shot it. He probably put a couple hundred rounds through it.

My local store has them occasionally for about $450... I might pick one up for for that price next time I'm in there (if they have any).

Today range day went very well, the green Ranger and the Bergara BXR, had new sights installed yesterday. After doing my sighting in, all of the carbon fiber rifles, along with the CZ 457 At-One Varmint, we’re shot, I ran about 600 rounds of CCI HP mini-mags.

The Christensens ran flawlessly, no ejection issue, the bolts are getting smoother with every round, I could not be happier with their performance.

The Bergara BXR, ran perfectly, great balance, trigger and ergonomics. It puts my 10/22s to shame.

The CZ 457 At-One Varmint, again performed flawlessly and great trigger. After I completely sanded the stock and cleaned up all of the sharp edges, is starting to grow on me, I’m still leaning towards a KRG stock, eventually.
