Rifle Scopes Case and Cover for Swaro ats65 spotter?

Does anyone have any suggestions for covers and a case to hold my Swaro ats 65 spotter? I know swaro makes a cover for it, but i refuse to pay $250 for a spotting scope cover. Alos, I'd lke to find a decent case to hold it. I'm not sure if anyone makes a case specifically for it, or if some of you use something different, but I'd love to hear some suggestions. Thanks.

It has rubber armor, a click-in plastic front cap and rubber rear cap. Why do you need a cover? I like the fact that it does not need a cover: more compact. If it needs more protection, put it in your pack or other container while moving it. Just my two cents.

the swaro one while hard to swallow the price of admission,is worth it .it fits perfect.contact doug @cameraland he wil square you away. there hard case while it fits perfectly,you could cut a pelican or hardigg etc and be water/weatherproof.

For a stay-on, neoprene type cover, a good but cheap alternative is the Cabelas Scope Skins:

I have seen one on a Swaro. ATS 80 and it fit well and appeared to be an excellent low-cost alternative.

As for a case, I have a my Pentax PF-80ED Angled scope, two eyepieces and accessories in a Storm case. I don't recall which one, but you won't find any better protection for the money. Check out Hardigg Storm's website and figure out which case's internal dimensions best fit your scope and everything else you want to fit in it. The Storm cases aren't cheap, but consider them insurance for a much more valuable scope/eyepieces/etc.

Hey Joe,
I have a spare Storm case I'm not using that fits an AR. I realize it's probably bigger than what your looking for but you could fit the tripod and a bunch of other shit in there with it.

You can make any of the Hardigg, Pelican, Storm cases work for rough transport, flying, etc. As mentioned Cabelas has some generic softside cases and coats that will work also if you want to keep the weight down.

Just bought one myself, looked over everything. Best out there right now are the Pelican cases.

Ahh, I didn't even think about fitting it i a Pelican case. i actually have a brand new pelican camera case that i can cut the foam to fit the spotter and my rangefinder. Good thinking.

Fonso, I certainly appreciate the offer, but i think I'm squared away for a case.

No problem Joe, that Swaro was amazing. I want one but I just ordered three suppressors yesterday so I'm gonna wait. A good spotter always seems to get knocked down on the list of things to get! LOL.
