Those fucking cats had 40 claws on each foot that could whirl around fast as light and scratch the shit out of you no matter how you picked them up.. They also have some kind of horrible bactieria in their mouths that goes into you when the dirty cocksuckers bite you and the bactieria are anaeorbic, meaning that a puncture wound, without air, is going to fuck you up big time if they bite you and their teeth go in.

I won't go into the horrible details about my cat bites, but, I ended up in surgery and the Dr. told be that if they could not get the infection under control and flushed out, he was going to amputate my right arm at the elbow. I damn sure did not want that.

Long story short, I always loved cats and was always nice to them, I had cats that were my own and I loved them.

After that cat bite, I am afraid to even touch them. I keep my distance.

I was out of work, staying at home and/or going to the hospital for IV treatments for 5 solid weeks and a surgery before I recovered. It cost me a lot but I still have my right arm and it never did recover fully.

Not all cats are bad, but, if you or yours are ever bitten by 1 take your ass or their ass to ER and get an IV of dope to take care of it and do NOT wait til you pass GO and collect $200. Go NOW. By tomorrow morning, it may be too late.

I have both cats and dogs. Love them both but for different reasons. Some people say cats dont have a personality. I think cats are shyer by nature and dont show personality to strangers as much. As to food in the study, food is food to an animal. Cats are scavengers and will eat anything they come across. They are also supreme hunters. I had a cat that would fetch, he also loved chips and salsa. He never met a stranger. Cat I have now sleeps on the bed with my wife and I or on our daughters bed. Is very demanding and loud. When someone comes to visit she is not to be seen.
My wife had a huge (25lbs) Main Coon, she (the cat) tolerated me, but loved and protected my wife. Someone came to the door and the cat would growl at the door loud enough to be heard through the door. She would stand between my wife and anyone that came to visit, if she didnt like them she would growl. Cats chest was 12 inchis wide and her paws whith claws extended were as big around as a beer can.
Our dogs would protect but theres only so much a Bassett can do. The mutt however I wouldnt want pissed at me.
Dogs and cats both have their place, but for different reasons. They all have different personalities and quirks.

NOPE! Returned from a deployment and the wife had let the kid get a cat. I tolerated it because she lived outside and was a pretty tough cookie. The wife sends me to the store to get a few things and I came back wit the wrong brand catfood. Little bitch refused to eat it. Couple days later I bought a bag of the right stuff and tried mixing it. She would tip the bowl over and pick out the pieces she liked. She never did eat any of it, but the number of bird carcasses I found in the yard increased significantly.
