CCI vs. Remington Primer - Load changes?

Hello everyone,

This would be for 308 out of a bolt gun. I'm running low on CCI large rifle primers and I have a friend whose got plenty of Remington large rifle primers.

My current 308 load is dialed in extremely well, what velocity/pressure difference have you guys noticed when switching between these two primers?

Only one way to find out for sure. That said, Rem 9-1/2 primers have always given me great results for 308 bolt and gas guns. Your POI may shift a bit and you may have to tweak your charge a bit but I wouldn’t expect to see drastic differences.
