CDI Bottom metal - thoughts/opinons?

I tried a search for CDI but didn't turn anything up.....

I'm considering ordering the CDI BM kit for my Rem 700. Does anyone have any 1st hand experience with them - goods or bads. FYI, I have an HS precision take-off stock from a 5R on my SPS-T.

I like that CDI uses AICS mags. Is $80 for a 10-round mag a good price?

many aftermarket bottom metal makers provide pillars for a reason.....savvy the stocks that can receive them

yes CDI is good stuff. I run it on both my tactical rigs.

Jeff at CDI will also inlet your stock for $60 so there is a perfect fit. I would have it pillar bedded.

Yes $80 is reasonable.

What was Jeff's turn around time to inlet your stock? I'm just afraid to have the gun out of pocket for a long time.

He'll often have it milled in a day or two and on its way back. Don't worry - it won't take long at all.

He got my stock on a Tuesday and had it done and in the mail the same day and even sent it two day priority. My smith had it Thursday back in Oklahoma.

He said a couple days, and if his communications are anything to signify he's been the most prompt, professional retail experience I've had so far with any Hide member.

Jeff is super fast. He got my rifle on a friday and had it done by sunday. It was shipped on monday.

Jeff at CDI is one of the best to do business with here at the Hide. He did my FN SPR. I had him inlet and install his bottom metal on it. This is probably about the best use of my money that I've ever spent. It took him about 1 1/2 weeks but he was waiting on the anodizer (sp?)and he apologized for taking so long. I was very pleased with his work and his product and sent him a Manners stock to inlet for me yesterday. You can give him a call if you have any questions. He is a nice guy !
