If they didn’t send anyone out to your area or aren’t performing surveys at this time, then that means there’s a bigger issue going on.

half my neighbors are retired HPD and State troopers, I am sure the fucker was watched from the moment he entered the only road in to and out of the hood. They are all bored and looking for action, we have chalked up one real estate agents drone taken by retired hpd capt with silenced 22, and one meter reader who was a different shade, run down by a pack of gun wielding retirees., they found him checking meter on my house, my wife who is Asian was embarrassed for the poor scared dude..

I had the same situation about 3 or 4 years ago. It was obvious that the CB was contracting with temps. Had a hot, female college student with nice tits and an "official" looking clipboard show up and knock at the front door early one evening. I was polite and let her in because I wanted a better/longer look at her sweater. We sat down at the dining room table and right away, she started asking me questions that I wasn't willing to/interested in answering. She got huffy with me and said "I had to answer". I quickly said "we're done" and marched her to the front door. I told her that I was her employer and I'd be god-damned if she or any other government worker was going to come onto my property, into my home and start telling me what to do.

She got even more huffy with me and said "you can't do that". I said; "watch me". "You can leave of your own volition now, or I would be happy to pick you up, carry you out to the ditch and throw you in it". She decided it was smarter to leave of her own volition. Maybe she learned a little something that evening about what the Constitution/BOR means to a cranky old fuck like me.

A week or two later, I got a phone call from some dweeb (her "supervisor", another contract worker, from Sherman Oaks, CA) and he starts in on me. I let him have it with another Sailor Jerry profanity laced tirade, well, because I could. He changed his tune right quick and basically said "I don't get paid if you don't answer these questions". I went into another profanity laced tirade and told him that was between him and the US government, I couldn't give a shit and maybe he should seek out a new line of employment. Ignored all of his phone calls after the first one.

Didn't mince any words and basically told all of them to take their gerrymandering bullshit and shove it up their ass. Haven't heard a peep out of any of them ever since.

This is a true story for AJ.

The wife and I were coming back from the 'ranch' betting on whether the border patrol would be out or not at the checkpoint. If there is any inclimate weather, they are nowhere to be found. We decided they would be out. Sure enough as we came down the hill, the signs are out. I usually don't start slowing down until the 25 MPH sign. I figure their radar is going off as I blow through the 55, 45, and 35 signs, but I always approach the final stretch at a reasonable speed.

As I'm slowing down, I roll the window down and pull up to the 'kid' (had to be about 25) and say 'good afternoon sir'. He says hello and then asks... wait for it... 'Are you a US citizen'? The wife starts chuckling because she know where this is going fast. I responded with 'isn't it strange if you ask that question on a census form, you're racist, but at a checkpoint you're not?

I followed up with an explanation the the SC ruled the Trump couldn't ask that question on the census. He acknowledge that he had heard something about that. I told him that Trump lost, and that we were both US citizens.

The really funny thing is if they would just come down to the 'ranch' we sit about 8 miles off the border and they could catch their limit most nights.

You are not required to answer all the questions. You just need to let them know how many people live at the house.

The rest of the all too intrusive questions such as: how many bedrooms, how many toilets, age, race, employment, how far do you travel to work, do you drive or carpool, what time do you leave....

A ton of the questions are great for demographics. Which marketing departments love. And we all know that just about every govt agency that collects data on licensing/permitting/registrations etc sell that information. I get the warranty expiring soon...renew your license with us cards in the mail. It’s awful. Or if you need to collect all the Japanese Americans and put them in camps it is way easier with their addresses.

I had an encounter a few years back. Told the door knocker I haven’t been sending the surveys back because they were intrusive and they were misrepresenting the original purpose of the census.

He said I had to do it or I would be arrested or something to that effect. I sort of laughed and said sorry buddy but your “boss” is lying to you. I was very polite and nice to him. He pressed on...so I asked him if he would give me his address and how many children he had and what time he leaves for work. We both decided to end the conversation since it was going no where.

Got a call from his supervisor a few days later. Threatened me right away with fines and arresting etc. At that point I had done some research and said I will gladly pay the $100 fine. But since the census bureau is not an enforcement agency he would have to coordinate with another agency to issue me the fine. I’m sure the folks at the DOJ would love to spend some time chasing down $100.

He persisted so I asked if he would give up his personal info to me. He said no way. Every time he asked me something after that I answered very calmly with “where do you live and how many children do you have?”

He gave up.

This is horrible overstepping by our government. Please everyone...do not feed them the demographics. Just tell them how many humans reside at the residence. And be nice about it...after all they are just doing their job.

Fuck if I know lol, that’s the number the system pushed back after I “trued” the MV with my 600yd dope in BallisticsARC. I don’t have a chrono but also never needed one out to 1200 so I never cared to get one.

FNH A3G 1:12 24” (CL/Fluted) barrel and ammo is old LC08 and LC12 M118LR.

I’ll end up grabbing one some day though. Just burning through my current ammo stock because it’s old and has been moved all across the country for the past 11 years.

I worked Census 2000 and Census 2010.

At this stage of Census 2020, the questionnaires aren't even printed yet, let alone interviews being taken. Census workers aren't even being selected yet. Any canvassing and/or delivery of questionnaires will not start taking place until first quarter of 2020. It is a huge undertaking that could reach well into third quarter.

Census workers are intensively trained on how to deal with the public and with occupants of dwelling units. I lost a friend once because I steadfastly refused to tell him details about a specific house he was interested in buying. For me, the alternative could have involved termination, fines, and/or prison. Confidentiality about any/every facet of census data is a very serious matter.

Did he know your name? He shouldn't; any identifying information does not appear on questionnaires, just address; and is never to be asked or recorded. All data recorded is anonymous. This issue is always covered in class dialogues until we all get it right.

Any request to leave the property is to be responded to by immediate agreement and compliance; any dispute of any kind is grounds for immediate termination and big fines levied on the Census worker. A jail term is a possibility. Federal oaths are involved.

Confidentiality is a huge issue for census workers.

That guy was phishing you. Or you were singled out for harassment because of your Internet postings or other identifying factors.

This is precisely the kind of crap I'm trying to get us all to be aware of when we get anywhere near over the top in our postings. If you had responded physically to his advances or leveled threats of violence, you could be legally liable. It could be Antifa baiting you; don't take that bait.

His license plate info and picture should be immediately referred to Census and FBI, federal fraud is involved here. Impersonating a Census worker could get him a free long term stay in Leavenworth.

5k in southern AZ and super dry lol. I just recently started playing more with the BallisticsARC app and picked up a WearherFlow meter so I’m kind of excited to see how it goes. I would like to get a chrono but I’m about to move out of country for three years so there will be zero LR shooting while abroad (no sense having one sit in storage for 3+ years just to come back to some newer model). That’s also what’s kept me from grabbing a new AIAX I’ll just fill that void with whiskey and food.

But back to the original topic, AJ you should definitely report it.

Usually when I shoot past 105yds, I have to contact the FAA and make sure the airspace is clear. I aim at the cloud and slap the trigger (mid-trigger slippage happens 103% of the time) to give it the extra FPS.
