A while back I bought a box of 7mm Hornady ELD-M 162 grain bullets, in early June or so. Finally got a load worked up, and I went out recently and bought another box. However, upon closer inspection, they weren't the same... The exact same item number (#28403), but the boxes displayed a different BC (old= .627, new= .670). Also, small change I know, but the trademark symbol after ELD had changed from (TM) to (R). You can also see, the shade of the tip has changed, from more transparent to more not-transparent..?
All this is fine and good, except once I finished my box of the older bullets and immediately opened the new box, in the same sitting, my OAL dropped ~.005". I know we are talking small discrepancies here, but was there some change made to the bullet itself, and I didn't get the memo? Should I work up a new load?

I am wondering if the store I bought the first box from was stocking older bullets..? The tag says 3/16 on the old box, they would have been over a year old by the time I bought them, which I suppose would answer some questions.
