Changing the mounting rings on the Malcolm-HiLux 8x USMC sniper scope

I recently upgraded the rings on my Malcolm Hi-Lux 8x USMC scope. I was wondering if anyone could provide some guidance on the best way to remove the old rings and installing the new ones.

All I can offer is try Kroil oil when you go to remove the original screws. We updated the soft Chinese screws on my Malcolm 8x scope a few years ago, and I recall that one broke off in the mount…

If I recall correctly the eyepiece come of followed by the reticle ring. Be very careful with the screws on that. Then the mounts slide off.
slide the new ones on and replace the ring and eyepiece.
I just got my scope back from Hi-Lux they replaced the reticle screws and mounts for me. Great company to deal with
