My Chargemaster seems to drag real big ass on the last .5 grains of any load. It has been like this from the factory and to help it I tried reprograming the first 3 settings and its still doing it. Anyone have any Ideas? I have my settings the same as shown on the guide to making it faster.

Any thoughts? BTW by slow I mean taking up to 3 to 5 mins to drop one charge completely

I have had my Chargemaster for about 2 years now. I found the other day that if I put it on a separate table by itself with nor vibrations from the table I am working on, that it runs more accurate and a lot faster. Any vibration that it senses with cause it to slow down. This may not be the case with your, it was something I just noticed.

RCBS does stand behind their products. If you call them I'am sure they will help you out. I sent one back a year ago. They sent me a brand new one in 4 days.

Even if you reprogramed the unit. It shouldn't run that slow on factory settings.

I have tried it on my reloading bench, kitchen table, and living room table. I have also tried it with Varget, RL-15, RL-22, 4831SC, and BLC-2. I even put a mark on the tube with a sharpie to see if its even turning to trickle. It appears that it is barely turning and a long interval. Maybe a cunt-hair every minute.

I will have to give RCBS a ring tomorrow since today is some sort of a holiday.
