Contrary to the title I am actually located in coastal GA but yesterday (16 Sept) I had a chat with a couple guys in the Spokane Airport. They were headed to Huntsville, Alabama but we shared flights out of Spokane to Seattle and then from Seattle to Atlanta, then we parted ways. Dunno if they're on here but could be and it was nice having a chat, so I'm reaching out 'cause I never got their names.
One of them had on a hunting camo (realtree or similar) shirt and jeans, the other was an older gentleman whose clothing I can't remember. I was wearing an orange T-shirt and had a OD backpack with me. Talked the benefits of Mauser actions and common calibres like .308 and .30-06, pre-64 Winchester M70s, 300 Win Mag as a general cartridge. I mentioned the 9.3 Mauser build I wanna get working on and that I'd been looking at the Pedersoli Kodiak double-rifles as a possible future purchase down the line.
